Restoration Phase

After an appropriate healing period, a restoration can be placed on the implant(s). Depending on the number of missing teeth and implants present, the restoration can consist of a crown, a bridge or a complete denture. A crown is used to replace a single tooth whereas a bridge can replace multiple teeth. When all upper or all lower teeth are missing, a complete denture can be attached to the implants.

An artificial tooth can then be attached to the implant. The end result is a strong, secure tooth that is virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.
