Call (514) 684-6040
Each root contains a long thin strand of pulp which endows it with nerves and nutrients in addition to extending to the root. Infections or trauma to the pulp cause nerve necrosis.

Root canal treatment  consists of drilling a hole in the crown and the pulp chamber of the tooth. Then, the diseased pulp is extracted, then the tooth is sealed with an inlay, or a crown made from gold and porcelain or a restoration of an aesthetic material.
