Oral Hygiene

Plaque is a layer of bacteria that adheres to the surface of teeth. Plaque can be removed by brushing and flossing regularly. However, when it accumulates, the plaque tends to harden and thus turns into tartar. To remove tartar, you need a cleaning at the dentist.

Note that poor oral hygiene can lead to cavities, gum disease (gingivitis, periodontitis) and bad breath (halitosis). During a cleaning, the deposits of plaque and tartar as well as the stains present on the teeth are removed.

➢ Important:
  • It is recommended to brush and floss your teeth after each meal.
